How do I Confirm Attendance?
-
go to
http://elearn.albanytech.edu and click on confirm attendance
button on the left hand side
- Read through the first few pages of information and click
confirm at the bottom of the page
- Fill in your information on the third page, you will need
your schedule which includes you student id number and the
course listing.
- This needs to be done for each online class you are enrolled
in. Also let them know they need to only confirm ONE time per
class.

I cannot
access (login) the Blackboard Website

http://gvtc6.blackboard.com or go to
http://elearn.albanytech.edu and click on blackboard
login
-
Username is albtc_
(underscore, which is the key next to the zero, hold down the
shift button and click that key) first initial, last name, last
four of your social security number.

Password is the first
five numbers of your social security number.

I cannot access my
Blackboard Course 1. If you registered more than 24
hours ago go to step 2.
A. If you have
registered within the last 24 hours you need to make sure and
confirm attendance, so you can be placed in your blackboard
course.
B. Allow 24 hours after confirming to be placed in your
blackboard course.
2. Have you
confirmed Attendance?
A. If you have
already confirmed attendance, and it has been less than 24
hours, it takes about 24 hours for instructors to add students
to blackboard.
B. If it has been more than 24 hours, you need to contact your
instructor to find out when they will be placed in the
blackboard site.

- go to http://elearn.albanytech.edu and click on student
email login on the left side or go directly to
http://studentmail.albanytech.edu
- Username is first initial, last name, last four of your
social security number.
- Password is the first six numbers of your social security
number.

How do I
access my instructors email address, office location or phone
number?
- go to
http://www.albanytech.edu
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on faculty &
staff
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click and click on last
letter of your instructor’s name
- Look for instructors information.
- Click "more" to the right hand side of your Instructors Name
to view office location, email, phone number and other
information
