STEP
ONE ― CONFIRM ATTENDANCE
(Step One is ONLY for
Students taking online classes)
1.
Go to http://elearn.albanytech.edu
2.
Click the “Confirm Attendance” button
3.
Read the information on each page and click the “Confirm
Attendance” button if you
understand the information
4.
Fill out the Confirmation Form and Click the “Submit” button
Please Confirm
only ONCE for EACH Online Class you are enrolled in.
Student ID# ____________________________________
(Student ID number can be found in the top right corner of your
schedule and it begins
with the number 900)
STEP TWO ― E-MAIL
1.
Go to http://elearn.albanytech.edu
2.
Click: “Student
email Login” Button
(http://studentmail.albanytech.edu)
3.
User Name: Type in your First Initial, Last Name and
last 4 numbers of your
Social Security Number (Example
jdoe6789)
4.
Password: Type in the First 6 numbers of your
Social Security Number
5.
Click : “Login”

STEP
THREE ― BLACKBOARD
Your
blackboard account should be ready by the end of the first day of
class if you pre-registered and within 24 hours if you registered
after classes have started.
1.
Go to http://gvtc7.blackboard.com
2.
Enter
username: Type in 20_ (your student ID number)
Example: Jane Doe has a
student ID of 900123456, so her login would be 20_900123456.
3.
Password:
consists of your birthday (mmddyy).
Example, a birthday of
January 1, 1965 would be 010165.
(unless you have changed it)
4.
Click: “Log In”
The next
screen should have your course(s) listed on the left hand side in
the section titled
“Course Quick View” Click the appropriate class
link.
